Motel 6-San Diego, Ca - Southbay - Chula Vista

The room was clean and beautifully updated. Having a nice fridge and microwave was super handy. I really enjoyed relaxing by the clean pool and the inviting outdoor seating area. A small issue was that the check-in process was a bit confusing, but it didn't take away from my overall experience. 😊

The management are awesome. They recommended the golf course better to me so I played golf at Salt Creek Golf Club which is very challenging and the price is reasonable. Thanks for the recommendation.

Cleanliness was a standout, with the room well-maintained and presenting a fresh aesthetic, made for a pleasant atmosphere. A few small dishes at nearby restaurants offered a nice dining option. The parking layout was confusing, complicating my arrival and departure.

The price was very good and the location was good. We were a 12 minuet drive from down town San Diego and we didn't want to pay the price of a luxury hotel.

A little maintenance in bathroom,chairs could use some steam cleaning.

The nearby taco spots like Armando's Mexican Food were a game changer for my veggie cravings! The Beautiful King Room was spacious and newly updated, and those clean digs made for a primo escape.

The bed seemed like a rock, and I had to grab toiletries from Walmart since they weren't stocked. Still, it wasn't a total bummer since the supermarket was a convenient hop away.

Wi-fi didn't work, both chairs were broke and unusable. Only had three towels in the room, when we went to the front for more, they didn't have any clean ones, so no towels. Wouldn't recommend or stay again.

Double paned windows keep external noise from bothering your sleep pretty well. The spaciousness of the room adds a level of comfort that's greatly appreciated after a long hyperspace jump.

Hard to navigate the parking lot entrance due to tricky freeway access. Not having basic cleanliness items like wash towels upon arrival stood out, along with stained drying towels and hair on the bathroom floor and by the bed. There was a lack of comforters, just an odd paper-like feel to the sheets. A sketchy vibe from some guests was noticeable, and cleaning services entering rooms without notice.

--typical Days Inn room. Nothing flashy, but gets the job done. --we were in town for a concert at the nearby Sleep Train Amphitheater in Chula Vista, and it was a quick and convenient ride to and from the venue.

--they did NOT have staff on-site after 9 PM. This was extremely inconvenient because the wireless did not work, and as a result there was no way to get this fixed during my stay. --Having no wireless access is inexcusable.

Dirty room & Roach infested!

Pretty good value but that's because it's quite a way out of the city. Metro is a 20 min walk away so you can get to Gaslamp area within an hour. Staff were helpful and courteous and room was clean and comfortable.

Wi-fi was slow and water not hot at breakfast. Selection a bit limited but for the price I know not to expect more.
